The UK campaign this project is named after in spirit: one secular civil law, no religious tribunals. Led by Iranian secularist Maryam Namazie. Their 2011 pamphlet Enemies Not Allies warned against tying the cause to the far right.

Support and advocacy for people who leave Islam. Apostasy, blasphemy, and the right to exit a religion — the core of free exercise, not an attack on it.
